Barkot, perched at 1,220 metres in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, has long been the natural halt for Yamunotri-bound yatris. When we opened our doors over 15 years ago, the town had only basic guest houses. We dreamed of giving pilgrims something better — a stay that combined the warmth of a Himalayan home with the comforts of a modern hotel.
Today, after serving more than fifty thousand guests, that vision has become Hotel Moon Light Palace. We're proud to be among the top-rated stays in Barkot on Google, TripAdvisor, and MakeMyTrip.
